Yes.<br /><br />I get out of bed every day because I have a whole new set of dreams. The smiles I get, the hugs, the tiny hands reaching up to me... it's all, every single blood-stained inch of it, worth it.<br /><br />I am acutely aware that my traitorous brain is hardwired to fall for those things, to make me love those things, to WANT those things...<br /><br />It doesn't matter.<br /><br />My kids are so completely TRUE, HONEST, and REAL, that I can't imagine going back to the silly life I had before them.<br /><br />But, again, it's okay if you don't want it. Really.<br /><br />After all, in the end, we all die alone.<br /><br />I have CHOSEN to be happy.
